Meal Prep!! So Important!
I went home for a quick second, and now I am in Montreal visiting my brother and meeting with the company I will start working for in September. Guess what? I’m meal prepping at my brothers. Yep! I actually am.
With all my travel, I know how important it is to cook for yourself anytime you are able to. Although I pick my foods carefully in a restaurant (I watch the calories, and stick to low carb foods), it’s still not the same as making it yourself. When you make it yourself you know exactly what is going into your body. So if there is a kitchen, I am cooking, even if the kitchen is not mine. LOL
I am lucky, I like to cook, but here is a trick I have always used to stay on point with my eating. On Sunday, I pre-cook all my essentials. I make chicken breast, and salmon (my 2 go to proteins), I prep my salad so all I have to do is throw it in a bowl, I also cook broccoli and cauliflower and leave it in the fridge. When I am hungry there is always something I can grab for that is healthy.
