The HOLIDAYS are HARD!
Christmas and New Years, are always my favourite holiday. First, because I get to see and spend time with my entire family, second, because of the FOOD!
I mean let’s be real shall we? You eat food during the holidays that you would never otherwise eat. Things like stuffing, mashed potatoes, chips, chips, oh wait did I say chips? Let me keep going… cheese, candy, cookies, chocolate. You name it, over the holidays it ALL comes out!
This year, I’m trying something different. I’m going to plan to cheat. Does that make any sense? I am going to accept the fact that I AM GOING TO CHEAT, and that’s ok. The difference is, I’m not going to go overboard, I’m going to be mindful of my cheating. Instead of having an entire bag of chips, I am going to have a bowl of chips. Instead of having 5 cookies, I will have 2 cookies.
I have no expectations of weight-loss over this holiday season, my only goal is to not gain any weight.
